Bavox does not sell your data. We only collect what is necessary for baking diagnosis, logs, friend interaction, and private messaging.

This Privacy Policy explains how Bavox collects, uses, shares, and protects your information. By using the App, you agree to these practices.

Third-Party AI Processing (OpenRouter)

Bavox uses OpenRouter to provide AI-powered pound cake cross-section analysis and baking defect diagnosis.

1.1 Data Transmission

Bavox transmits only the minimum information necessary to provide the requested AI diagnosis feature.

Data transmitted for AI processing is handled according to OpenRouter's applicable privacy, security, and retention policies.

  • Pound cake cross-section images
  • Baking parameters and recipe notes
  • No facial data, no personal identifiers

You provide explicit consent before AI data transmission. You may withdraw consent in Privacy Settings.

Device info, app version, session data, and anonymized crash logs.

We share data only with limited, trusted providers:

  • OpenRouter: for AI baking analysis
  • Apple: for in-app purchase processing
  • Analytics providers: anonymized and aggregated data only

Bavox does NOT sell your personal data, baking logs, images, or messages.

Private Message Data Handling

Private messages are stored securely and used only to facilitate communication between mutually followed friends.

  • Encrypted in transit and at rest
  • Deleted when the follow relationship ends
  • Not used for advertising or AI training
  • Not shared with third parties except by law

User Rights & Choices

You may exercise the following rights at any time:

  1. Access: Request a copy of your data
  2. Correction: Update your account information
  3. Export: Export your baking logs and images
  4. Delete: Delete messages or full threads
  5. Block: Block other users at any time
  6. Report: Report content, messages, or profiles
  7. Withdraw Consent: Disable AI or messaging features

Account Deletion

Users may permanently delete their account through App Settings → Account → Delete Account.

All personal data, baking logs, images, follow relationships, and private messages will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

Deletion is irreversible.

We use industry-standard security measures including encryption, access controls, and secure storage.

No system is fully secure, but we maintain strict protections for your baking data and private information.

Children’s Privacy

Bavox is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

We may update this policy periodically. Significant changes will be notified in-app.
